Tracks Like A DreamReview by Gunfighter
I purchased this kayak to replace the one I gave to my son and I have been extremely happy with it. It's sturdy, extremely stable and it tracks very well with a minimum of effort. I have fished with it everywhere from the Boundary Waters to my home waters in Arkansas and it always meets expectations. Headed to fish the Florida Everglades with it in early spring. As others have mentioned, the seat can use an upgrade.Other than that, it's good to go. (Posted on 8/13/2018)
Great yakReview by FatBoy
I'm a big guy 5'11 345 so kayak stability and weight capacity were absolute priorities. Lucky I managed to find this Patriot Angler after a quick search. Bonus was 20% end of season price markdown too.. (Posted on 9/10/2017)
Wow!! Great Kayak. Just have to upgrade the seatReview by Katie

Great kayak, terrible seatReview by SakaURBs
Absolutely love this kayak, minus the seat. Kayak extremely stable and well designed! Caught many fish in it already. Really needs a seat upgrade! Seat has already fallen apart. Wasn't the seat pictured and was extremely uncomfortable till it completely fell apart! Will buy another when the rethink the seat! (Posted on 8/26/2017)
River fishing funReview by Hoopty
Bought this kayak to fish broad river in South Carolina. I've had it for 2 months now and fished out of it 7 or 8 times. Only negative info I have is the seat, and I will upgrade that when time allows. It's durable fairly light ez to get in and out of, which is a must for me because we do a lot of wading once we reach our destinations. All in all this is a great kayak and I'm completely satisfied with the purchase of it. (Posted on 8/12/2017)
Excellent KayakReview by Kegs
I bought this kayak this summer and have used it a few times. I love this yak very stable and works well on the river I float. Fix the seat issue myself had the same problem as the rest. took the screws and drilled two holes in the back of the seat. Set it up just like what is pictured works perfect.

Still Enjoying the PatriotReview by Pricer52
Still enjoying the Patriot! The seat has been my biggest issue. Other than that the boat is fantastic. I own two of these Patriot™ 12.0 Angler's. I have taken several friends out that have never used a kayak but have heard how unstable kayaks can be and they were very surprised at how stable this one is. The seat set up was an issue for them as well. If the seat issue could be corrected on this kayak it's my opinion that it would simply be perfect. (Posted on 7/12/2017)
Sooo stableReview by Mike
Bought this to replace a kayak with a smaller payload capacity. I cant believe how stable it is compared to my old yak. I am 6'3" and about 270 and I dont think I could tip it. MY old one would tip over if I sneezed. Lots of storage and love the bucket well in the back. A 5 gallon bucket with a gamma lid will keep my stuff dry in the rear or serve as a fish container. Wish it came with the seat pictured as not sold on the comfort seat thing. Slides around a little and just used to the type pictured above. Grear job Patriot. We will be getting another soon. Stable and straightReview by Alabama redneck
Bought this kayak to replace my 14' old town. Could not have made a better choice. This kayak is super stable and tracks very well, tons of storage and doesn't break the bank. Job well done guys. (Posted on 6/2/2017)
Bought #2Review by Pricer52
Liked it so much I went out to purchase the last one available. Looks to be very popular in my area. Great Kayak! Every time I go out on the water I have at least two conversations about kayaks. I always find it interesting at how freely people what to let you try their boat and them try yours. I think this model will sell itself. Great Job!! (Posted on 5/31/2017)
Very Stable KayakReview by Pricer52
I have found this kayak to be exceptionally stable. I can turn around 360 degrees and slide to either end of the kayak to reach any of the dry storage compartments. I can sit sideways in the kayak with my legs hanging in the water. Stability is not a problem for this kayak.

It tracks very strait. I am impressed with this kayak! I can't wait to get back out on the water with this one. I highly recommend this kayak for entry level paddlers. You will love this one! (Posted on 5/30/2017)

Q & A

Q1: Can I buy a spray skirt for my Kayak? If so, where?

A1: Only sit-in kayaks can accept spray skirts, but not all of them do. It all depends on the size of the cockpit and the shape of the lip. Some cockpit dimensions are shown on the product detail page. If you don’t see your cockpit dimensions, you can use a tape measure and check the width and length of your cockpit including the lip. To purchase spray skirts, please visit www.sealsskirts.com.

Q2: Regarding the «weight capacity» to a specific kayak, is there a general rule that applies whether it should suit me or not?

A2: The weight capacity stated on the kayak documentation represent the maximum weight the kayak can hold to be fully usable. For a more comfortable ride, always look for a kayak that has a weight capacity approximately 30 to 40lbs above your actual weight. It’s even more important for sit-on top kayaks as the closer you are to the weight limit, the deeper will the line of floatation be, resulting in more water coming into the kayak from the scupper holes.

Q3: Where do I find the Serial/Warranty #?

A3: Your kayak’s serial number is located behind the seat or on the rear left hand side (when looking at your kayak from the front). Please use this number in order to register your kayak on the Registration section of our website.

Q4: What is the best way to store my kayak?

A4: The ideal way to store a kayak is to sit it on a flat surface. If your kayak remains outdoors, you should keep it covered and out of direct sunlight. Do not leave any straps tightly clinched around your kayak for long periods, especially in warm weather. This could distort the shape of the kayak. For an easy storage and access to your kayak, we recommend to take a look at the different options in the Accessories section of our website.

Q5: I would like to put a rudder system on my kayak, is it possible?

A5: None of our kayaks comes with a rudder system. Even if there are third party rudder system available on the market, we do not recommend the use of any specific one. The installation of a rudder system is done at your own risk. Please note that any permanent alteration of your kayak hull will result in the cancellation of the warranty.
